The Lincoln Stars fell to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders by a score of 3-2 at ImOn Ice Arena in Cedar Rapids.

The RoughRiders would score first with a tally from the blue line courtesy of Charlie Emmons that found traffic in front. But Lincoln would answer right back when Alex Pelletier buried his second goal of the season on the breakaway. 13 seconds later, Aiden Janz roofed a backhand shot top-corner to give Lincoln the lead. 

The 2-1 lead would be broken when Emmons scored for the second time in the contest to tie it up. The game would remain 2-2 heading into the second period.

Justin Graf would score to give the RoughRiders a 3-2 lead after the Stars failed to clear the zone and the game would go into the final 20 minutes.

Both teams would be scoreless in the third, and Lincoln fell to The RoughRiders 3-2.

The Stars are back in action on Saturday at 7:05 against Cedar Rapids at ImOn Ice Arena in Iowa.
