STARS COMPLETE 2026 USHL DRAFT

STARS SELECT 28 PLAYERS IN PHASE I/II OF USHL DRAFT

LINCOLN, Neb. — The Lincoln Stars completed both Phase I and Phase II of the 2026 USHL Draft this week. Phase I was completed on Monday night, and Phase II on the following evening.

The Stars drafted 28 players across both phases, selecting 15 in Phase I (all 2010 birth years) and 13 in Phase II (ages 17-20). The Stars selected players from 11 U.S. States and 3 countries.

The Stars also drafted a Lincoln, Nebraska native when they selected Samuel Kline with the 153rd overall pick of Phase II. Kline is the first Lincoln native to be a Star since Ethan Price suited up for Lincoln during the 2014-15 season.

In addition to the United States natives, the Stars drafted one player from Canada and another from Kazakhstan.
