FORCE TAKE TWO-OF-THREE FROM STARS

TAKE SUNDAY'S GAME, 5-1

The Lincoln Stars dropped the final game of their weekend tripleheader, 5-1, to the Fargo Force on Sunday night at the Ice Box.

Keaton Peters scored for the eighth time in the last eight games and now has 28 goals in his Stars career, fifth-most by any Lincoln skater in the last five seasons. He scored a power-play goal 17:03 into the second to put the Stars on the board.

Fargo scored three times in the first period including a power-play goal with 2.3 seconds left in the frame for their best period of the weekend. Jake Fisher and Lee Parks both scored twice for the visitors.

Lincoln looks to bounce back on Friday as it hosts Tri-City for Teddy Bear Toss Night. The Stars will also be sporting specialty holiday uniforms that will be auctioned off after the game. Purchase tickets now at lincolnstars.com
