Stars General Manager Nick Fabrizio announced on Friday that the Lincoln Stars have promoted Artt Brey to Associate Head Coach prior to the 2025-26 season.

Brey served as an assistant and goaltender coach throughout his previous four years in Lincoln.

The Stars also announced that they have acquired defenseman Luke Janviriya from the Sioux Falls Stampede in exchange for a conditional draft pick.

Janviriya played with the Philadelphia Rebels of the NAHL in 2024-25 and tallied seven goals and 20 assists for 27 points. He is the younger brother of former Lincoln Star Kai Janviriya.

The Stars drop the puck on the preseason tonight at the Ice Box against the Omaha Lancers at 7:00 PM, and the Stars' home opener is on Friday, September 26th at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available at lincolnstars.com
