LINCOLN, Neb. —  Lincoln Stars General Manager Nick Fabrizio announced today that the Stars have completed two trades prior to the beginning of the 2026-27 regular season.

Lincoln has acquired Forward Max Aronson, a Phase I 3rd round draft pick, and a Phase II 2nd round draft pick in the 2027 USHL draft in exchange for goaltender Charles Menard.

A Minnetonka, Minnesota native, Aronson was selected by Waterloo with the 134th pick in the 2026 USHL Phase II draft. The '08 born forward recorded 37 points  (16+21) in 31 games for Minnetonka High School last season.

In addition, the Stars also acquired a 2027 Phase II sixth round pick from the Sioux City Musketeers in exchange for defenseman Nathaniel Poole.

The Stars drop the puck on the regular season in Chicago at the USHL Fall-Classic on Thursday, September 17th against the Dubuque Fighting Saints.
